Aloha!

My name is Josie and I’m originally from the Philippines but was mostly raised in Ventura County, California. My background has taught me to embrace my identity, culture, and experiences which helped inspire me in storytelling. I really want to combine my strong visual storytelling with a clear cinematic composition and the workflow to create compelling narrative scenes. After graduation I want my work to help build bridges between communities of culture and inspire audiences to see behind every origin story. My experiences throughout my life is growing and continuing as I keep learning and expressing my ideas through my storytelling.
